L.A. Serial Killer Sketch Released
A sketch of a man thought of to be the Los Angeles serial killer was released Tuesday.
Since 1985, the man has allegedly killed at least 11 people.
The sketch was created in 1988 when a surviving victim came forward and described her assailant. The woman claimed he was in his 30s. Age-enhancement techniques will be administered to update the drawing.
The murders that the police are aware of consist of 10 women and one man. The crimes were committed in the years between 1985 and 2007. The man and seven of the women were shot to death.
Police are calling the killer the “Grim Sleeper” since it seems he took about a 14 year break from his killing spree.
The murderer chose victims who were black and some were possibly prostitutes. He tended to toss the sexually assaulted bodies into an alley in the southern area of Los Angeles.
