Chicago Ex-Police Officer Found Guilty for Fake $1 Million Check

22 January 2010 No Comment

A former Chicago police officer has been found guilty for attempted theft, forgery, and official misconduct after attempting to deposit a fraudulent check.

Tiffany Brown attempted to deposit the $1 million check in her Chicago Patrolmen’s Federal Credit Union while claiming that she had received it from the Six Flags Great America amusement park after a legal settlement. Great America affirmed its falsity.

Police arrested Brown and she was terminated from her duties as a police officer.
