Pensacola, Fla. –A Florida man lost some of his front teeth and a piece of his tongue, and his face was burned severely when an electronic cigarette exploded in his mouth.  The explosion was caused by a faulty battery.  Tom Holloway, 57, of Niceville was at home when the device exploded.  He was taken to a local hospital to be treated.  The brand of the cigarette, the type of battery or the age of the equipment is unknown. 2.5 million Americans used electronic cigarettes last year.  Electronic cigarettes are healthier alternatives to regular cigarettes because they have fewer chemicals.  If you have been injured as the result of a faulty product, get the advice of a Florida personal injury attorney today.
