Police Subdue Student Accused of Theft With Taser
San Diego, CA –Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. San Diego police officers responded to a grand theft report at a Point Loma Heights school. When they arrived at Correia Middle School in the 4300 block of Valeta Street they were told there was a 14-year-old male student in the library who was suspected of stealing $5000 worth of iPods. The officers tried to take the student to be interviewed when a struggle occurred and an officer used his stun gun on the student. The student was Tasered twice and the officers were able to control him. The student was taken to Rady Childrens Hospital. Almost all of the iPods were recovered by police.
