La Mesa, CA –A woman was hit by an alleged drunk driver when she was stopped at a red light and was taken to the hospital on Thursday night.  The incident occurred near the Grossmont Center Mall at the intersection of Grossmont Center Drive and Murray Drive.  The young woman had just picked up her son from her ex-husband at the mall marking lot.  When she stopped at the red light, Eric Jonsson slammed his truck into the rear end of her vehicle.  After that he took off.  The woman and her husband, Mako Pama, looked for the driver’s white truck in the parking lot.  They found Jonsson, 48, passed out in his truck with the engine running.  Marijuana and prescription drugs were found in Jonsonn’s truck.  He was driving on a suspended license because of a previous DUI.  He’s in jail facing felony DUI and hit and run charges.  If you have been arrested for DUI and need a defense attorney, find one at SANDIEGOCOUNTY-DUILAWYER.COM today.
