According to Chicago police, a taxi driver on duty was assaulted by a passenger bearing a knife and used a can of aerosol deodorant to defend himself against his attacker.
Elgin Deputy Police Chief Jeff Swoboda reports that the 51-year-old cab driver was outside a casino early Thursday when the male passenger got into the vehicle. Swoboda added that the driver became a little suspicious when the man gave the driver multiple places to take him, so he secretly put the deodorant can in between his legs in case.
