Newport Beach, CA — Two men have been arrested and charged with suspicion of commercial burglary in connection with thefts from the Civic Center construction site.
A 36-year-old Compton man and a 38-year-old Santa Ana man were booked, bail was set at $20,000 for each, and they remain in jail.  The men allegedly wore orange safety vests to look like the legitimate workers.  They entered three locked containers and removed supplies at 1100 Avocado Ave. at 4:16 a.m. on August 31.  An employee saw them and was able to get …
