Newport Beach, CA  – A construction worker fell about 30 feet on Tuesday at the site of the future Newport Beach city hall.  The worker was taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana.  The construction site is located at the 1100 block of Avacado Ave.  The accident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m.  The worker is in stable condition.  Cal-OSHA will investigate the accident.  A new city hall building, a park, parking structure and an expansion of the library is under construction at the site.
