According to officials, a 53-year-old man of Colorado suffered major injuries after he was involved in a serious mountain-biking accident that occurred close to Moab.
The Grand County Sheriff’s Office reports the accident took place on Sunday on the Porcupine Rim trail when the man flew over his mountain bike’s handlebars. A whole crew of search and rescue members found the man injured with serious back and cervical and thoracic spinal pain and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Grand Junction, Colo.
