Two firefighters were killed Sunday while battling against the Los Angeles fire that is threatening 12, 000 homes.
Over night the fire has grown twice as large and the end is far from sight. The fire that started Wednesday in the Angeles National Forest has quickly seared through 132 square miles.
There are over 2,500 firefighters on the scene and over 6,600 homes are under mandatory evacuation.

After days of battling against the Santa Cruz wildfires, firefighters have reached 50 percent containment.
It has been reported that 6,843 acres have been burned and around 2,300 people evacuated from the Santa Cruz County area.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but over 2,000 firefighters are on the job are aiming to have it completely contained by the end of next week.

Hundreds of people evacuated their homes Wednesday due to the rapid wildfires that are heading south towards the Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara area.
Mandatory evacuation orders have been given out to about 600 people. It has been reported that 2,300 acres have been burned already and the fires are continuing to expand.
Multiple fires continue to threaten northern and southern California. One has already ravaged 33 miles of Los Padres National Forest in Santa Barbara. Over 1,000 firefighters are battling to take control of the flames.
