San Diego, CA — Border Patrol agents took twelve suspected illegal immigrants into custody about 7 a.m. today. Agents saw people being transferred into a van at a shopping center at Euclid Avenue and Market Street. Some of the people were wet and muddy and one man had cuts and scrapes on his face. It is thought that the group crossed the border by climbing a fence near the Otay Mesa border crossing. There was fog this morning that made it easier to cross undetected.
