Castro Valley, CA — Two children have been mauled by dogs in two separate incidents in less than 24 hours. In the most recent incident, a two-year-old boy was attacked by his family’s dog, a pit bull, German shepherd mix. The attack took place at the boy’s home on the 21000 block of Gary Drive around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The young boy was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley with severe wounds. He was later transferred to Children’s Hospital Oakland. He is expected to survive. …
